What guests say about our Shepherd's Hut

Mark and Kay's place was absolutely perfect romantic getaway in the lovely town of Skipton. The Shepherd's hut had everything we needed and more. We had our side of the garden to allow us privacy and a lovely view over the hills from the hut. We also enjoyed sitting in the garden with a drink. If you are lucky enough, you might even meet the lovely dogs of the family. The hut is situated next to a very quiet road so you won't be bothered by the noise at night, we slept very well and the bed was very comfy and cosy. I would definitely recommend it and hope to be able to come back myself. Thanks.

Mark And Kay's place is a hidden gem, a well kept secret just besides Skipton's historic castle. I felt at peace and very private, secure and happy in their delightful Shepherd's Hut. The sheep theme is everywhere, on the tea towels, on the books on the shelf above the double bed at the foot, on a glass dish on a like shelf in the living area, and in the fluffy real sheepskin throw on the white chairs.

There were even over 30 sheep in the neighbouring field, though I understand that there are usually only one or two. The garden view from the double glass doors by the few sturdy wooden steps up to the Hut, means you can eat your breakfast feeling as if you are actually sitting in the garden, or you can take the food up metal table down into the garden itself if you feel like it.

A beautiful custom built Shepherd's Hut. Its only a 2 minute walk into Skipton town centre but it feels like you're in the middle of the countryside. The hut is immaculately presented and has a cute sheep theme running throughout. The bathroom (especially the shower) is very large for this sort of property and the shower has great pressure and temperature.

Also the towels are really nice! It has a fully functioning kitchen and a full size size fridge, perfect to chill your wine and beer for an evening relaxing. You can see the top of Skipton Castle from the steps of the hut. And if you're lucky you can even watch the bats fly by at night.

The Bailey Shepherds Hut is such a special place, with great hosts, we were sad to leave! It's finished to a very high standard, and every detail has been considered to make it cosy and welcoming for guests! We stayed in January and hoped to use the log burner, the hut is so warm and cosy we didn't need to light it. Spotlessly clean and spacious inside, we had a great nights sleep followed by a beautiful breakfast hamper to end our stay! Highly recommend and can't wait to return!
